Notes:
1. The 3c value of Perak was similarly overprinted for use in Selangor.  The 3c of Selangor has been reported but I believe this is an error for the Perak stamp.
2. Forbin lists the 25c similarly overprinted in black but I have not seen this.
3. J66a seems to be a separate printing rather than a plate variety and is not much scarcer than J66.  All recorded examples are used between 2nd and 13th October 1900.
4. Recorded usage: J62 - Apr 1900 to Jul 1901, J63 - Oct 1900 to Jan 1901, J66 - Oct 1900 to Feb 1901, J66a - Oct 1900, J67 - Mar 1901 to Jul 1902, J68 - Jul 1900 to Oct 1901, J69 - Mar to Jul 1901, J70 - Jan 1901 to May 1902, J77 - Mar 1901 to Apr 1903, J78 - Nov 1901 to Jul 1902, J80 - Dec 1901 to Nov 1904, J81 - Jun 1902.

Revenue
Note: all Selangor revenues from R1 to R149 are Straits Settlements stamps overprinted with the state name.  For watermark, perforation and other details see under Straits Settlements.
Picture
R1/4
1879-82 (recorded usage).  Straits Settlements long type revenues of 1873-81 overprinted Selangor in seriffed capitals, sideways reading upwards.

  R1. 10c magenta and black
  R2. 25c magenta and black
  R3. 50c magenta and black
  R4. $1 blue and black

Notes:
1. The 10c and $1 values of this issue were discovered in 2014.  The authenticity of the overprints has been questioned, but in my view they look identical to the widely accepted overprints on the 25c and 50c.
2. Recorded usage: R1/3 - all Oct 1879, R4 - 1882.

Picture
R11/16
1883-88 (recorded usage).  Straits revenues of 1881-86 overprinted Selangor in capitals horizontally in sans-serif font.

a) Wide sans-serif overprint
  R11. 3c magenta
  R13. 10c magenta
  R14. 25c magenta
  R16. $1 blue

  R21. 3c magenta
  R24. 25c magenta
  R25. 50c magenta

Note: Both Forbin and Barefoot list a 5c similarly overprinted but I have not seen this.
Recorded usage: R25 - Oct 1883.

c) Narrow sans-serif overprint, 14½ x 3 mm (recorded usage 1887-88)
  R31. 3c magenta
  R32. 5c magenta
  R33. 10c magenta
  R34. 25c magenta
  R35. 50c magenta
  R36. $1 blue

Recorded usage: R32 - Sep 1887, R33 - Sep 1887 to Feb 1888, R34 - Aug 1887, R35 - Oct 1887, R36 - Sep 1887.

1. A minor overprint variety 'Damaged L' is known on several examples of the 3c, and may exist on other values of the series.
2. Recorded usage: R61 - Aug 1887 to Jan 1888, R65 - Sep 1888.

Picture
R71/79
d) Small seriffed overprint, usually with stop after Selangor, 17 x 2 mm (recorded usage 1887-89)
  R71. 3c magenta
  R72. 3c purple and black
  R73. 5c magenta
  R74. 10c magenta
  R75. 25c magenta
  R76. 50c magenta
  R77. $1 blue
  R78. $1 green and black
  R79. $2 green and blue

Notes:
1. The 3c (R72), 5c, 10c, 50c and $1 (R78) are also recorded without stop after Selangor.  It is not known whether this is a different overprint or a variety within the standard overprinting forme, or simply a regular stamp with the stop weakly printed.
2. I have seen black and white images purporting to show the bicolour 5c, 10c and 50c values with the same overprint but I have yet to see a colour illustration which would prove their existence.  Barefoot lists these plus the bicolour 20c and $5, none of which I have seen.
3. Recorded usage: R72 - Jul to Sep 1888, R73 - Apr 1888 to 1889, R74 - Apr 1888, R75 - 1888, R76 - Apr 1888, R77 - Nov 1887, R78 - Apr 1888, R79 - 1887.
