Currency
  • (Until 1966) 20 shillings = 1 pound sterling (12 pence = 1 shilling)
  • (1966-present) 100 cents = 1 Bahamian dollar (equal in value to the US dollar)
Note: on 25 May 2013 the US dollar became legal tender in the Turks and Caicos Islands alongside the Bahamian dollar.
